First things first - the idiots who thought vandalising the Foundation Plaza at Tynecastle was a good idea need to have a word with themselves.
That crest is sacred. It’s named after the supporters who went over and above for the club so for a so-called fan to daub an x-rated message aimed at Robbie Neilson over it is the height of stupidity and ignorance.
If people want to hold up banners to call for the manager’s head then that’s fine. That’s the nature of the beast. But defacing part of the ground, which the club has worked so hard to make first class, is like vandalising your own home if you’re a genuine fan and no matter their opinion of Robbie Neilson it’s absolutely wrong.
It’s not the first time either. When Craig Levein was in the firing line four years ago someone got their paint brush out and dissed the badge on the plaza.
