Free agent Ryan Bertrand has been offered to Celtic as a solution to the Scottish champions' search for left-back reinforcements.
The England cap has been without a club since leaving Leicester City at the end of last season following a two-year spell working under Brendan Rodgers at the Foxes.
The Irishman is on the look-out for another option on the left side of his defence with Alexandro Bernabei struggling to make an impression on the pitch at Celtic.
Rodgers has also left Bernabei out of a matchday squad for the opening day clash with Ross County after turning up late to the pre-match squad meeting.
