Inter Miami were knocked out of the playoffs by New York City FC on Monday night. The home side scored three goals with no reply and with that Phil Neville's side were sent home.
It was a shock to many fans that they made it this far; Miami started the season poorly but turned it around in the second half of the campaign to secure a sixth-placed finish.
However, the fans will be disappointed to get knocked out now they made it into the playoffs. Head coach and former Manchester United defender Neville has struck an optimistic tone about the future of the club.
He told the media after the game about his ambitions: "We want to go deep into the play-offs. It's a baby step forward but I think we have changed the way people look at Inter Miami.
