Newcastle: 'Unbelievable' 18-year-old 'burgeoning talent' at St James' Park

Newcastle United target Garang Kuol is a ‘burgeoning talent’ and the Central Coast Mariners starlet would ‘join the first-team group’ at St James’ Park, according to Sky Sports reporter Keith Downie. Having smashed their transfer record to sign Alexander Isak from Real Sociedad last month, it seems Magpies head coach Eddie Howe has set his sights on splashing even more cash when the transfer window reopens in January.

According to beIN SPORTS, Kuol has agreed personal terms on a proposed four-year deal which would see him earn £25,000-per-week at Newcastle.

The report suggests the striker, who has entered the final two years of his contract with Australian outfit Central Coast Mariners, has been attracting interest from several European clubs.

It is understood that plans are in place for Kuol to be loaned out to a Portuguese club in January if Newcastle succeed in getting a deal over the line.
