Newcastle pair Allan Saint-Maximin and Callum Wilson could be back in action against Fulham, according to Sky Sports reporter Keith Downie. The key attacking duo, who cost the club £36m, are both currently out injured, but Downie reckons at least one of them could play some part at Craven Cottage on Saturday week.

Both players made strong starts to the season, with Saint-Maximin registering one goal, a stunning late strike to rescue a point at Wolves, and two assists in five appearances.

Meanwhile, Wilson scored twice in three matches before suffering a hamstring problem in the 3-3 draw against Manchester City.

As a result, the England striker has missed the last four Premier League games, while Saint-Maximin has been sidelined for the last three top-flight fixtures.
