Newcastle handed huge injury boost over £36m duo at St James' Park

Newcastle pair Allan Saint-Maximin and Callum Wilson could be back in action against Fulham, according to Sky Sports reporter Keith Downie.

The key attacking duo, who cost the club £36m, are both currently out injured, but Downie reckons at least one of them could play some part at Craven Cottage on Saturday week.

Generally, Wilson has always been a key player for the Toon Army, with his goal record a notable 22 in 49 games since his move from Bournemouth two years ago.

During that period, Newcastle have struggled for goals whenever he’s been out injured, but that might no longer be the case following Alexander Isak’s switch from Real Sociedad, with the Swede scoring twice in three outings.
