Stoke City boss Michael O'Neill says the club are "actively looking" to make two more signings in the summer transfer window following a preseason defeat to Hearts.

Tyrese Campbell scored either side of a Lawrence Shankland brace as the Potters lost 2-1 at Tynecastle in their final game before the Championship restarts.

It means they won just one of their five friendlies this past month. Two new signings made their debut on Saturday, with Dwight Gayle and Will Smallbone coming off the bench on the hour mark.

O'Neill was happy with their contribution despite the defeat. "Yeah I think (it will do them good), we only got them in," the Northern Irishman said after the game. "Gayle was able to train with us on Friday.
