Paul Gascoigne has urged Marcus Rashford to leave Manchester United and shake his career up by making a move abroad. The 26-year-old has been going through a difficult period at Old Trafford since scoring 30 goals during the 2022/23 season.

Last campaign, he struggled to hit the same form and registered just eight goals. Rashford showed his best display of the season to date in the 3-3 Europa League draw with FC Porto earlier this month.

Prior to that, he was dropped for the trip to Crystal Palace and struggled against Twente and Tottenham which attracted criticism. Gascoigne believes it's time for the England international to continue his career abroad. "Yeah, definitely, I think so," Gascoigne told SportsCasting when asked if he believes Rashford should leave United. "I love Rashford, I think he’s an unbelievable player but he just doesn’t seem to care. "Even when he scores, he doesn’t seem happy about it so there’s something going on there.
