Napoli have made an 'enquiry' about Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat as they consider alternative targets to Scott McTominay this summer.
That's according to reports from Fabrizio Romano via social media platform X with Manchester United front and centre in another transfer triangle.
Amrabat spent last season on loan at Old Trafford and The Manchester Evening News understands he was among four names being monitored by United in their ongoing search for another defensive midfielder.
However, the club chose against taking up the option they had in their previous agreement. United could have turned his temporary stay into a permanent one for £17million (€20million).
