Manchester United have reached an agreement with Inter Milan to sign goalkeeper Andre Onana. It is understood that the Reds, who face Lyon at Murrayfield in Edinburgh tomorrow, have reached an agreement worth £43.79million, plus potential add-ons.
United now want to get the deal wrapped up so that he can participate in the pre-season tour of the United States as soon as possible.
United are scheduled to fly out to the US on Wednesday evening following the clash with Lyon. Elsewhere, there are other areas within the squad that need bolstering, not least the centre-forward position.
After hitting a hurdle in the pursuit of top target Harry Kane, United have turned to Atalanta striker Rasmus Hojlund. The Italian club are reportedly holding out for around £60m.
