Rasmus Hojlund has arrived in the UK to complete his transfer to Manchester United. United have been aiming to sign a striker all summer and are closing in on doing so with the signing of Danish starlet Hojlund.
The Reds reached an agreement with Atalanta for the transfer on Saturday and will pay a guaranteed £64million which could rise by a further £8m if certain clauses are met.
Erik ten Hag held talks with Hojlund over a video call early on in the window when the club abandoned hopes of signing Harry Kane after getting the impression Tottenham would not sell, especially to a direct Premier League rival.
The 20-year-old has agreed personal terms on a five-year contract with the option of a further 12 months. It's hoped Hojlund will complete his transfer to Old Trafford this week and he arrived at Manchester Airport via a private jet on Tuesday at around 4pm before being pictured leaving the airport.
