Rasmus Hojlund has completed his Manchester United medical ahead of finalising his move to Old Trafford. The Atalanta ace is on the brink of becoming the club's third signing of the summer transfer window after United agreed a deal with the Italian club last weekend.

The Reds have agreed to an overall package worth £72million, £64m of which is being paid up front. Though the deal is now on the brink of being finalised, it is possible that United may wait until the weekend until they officially announce Hojlund's arrival.

The Reds face RC Lens at Old Trafford on Saturday lunchtime. Meanwhile, Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat is of interest to manager Erik ten Hag, though a move will only be made if enough is raised from player sales.

A number of senior players could exit following the departures of Alex Telles and Anthony Elanga. United have rejected a £20m bid for Harry Maguire from West Ham, but are still open to favourable offers.
