Manchester United supporters are still waiting for a resolution to the takeover saga. The Glazers announced they had put the club on the market back in November of last year.
Since then, there have been two leading candidates in the race to buy the Old Trafford side. Qatari billionaire, Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, has lodged a bid which would see him buy 100 per cent of the club and the Glazers depart.
Meanwhile, INEOS chief Sir Jim Ratcliffe has put a 60 per cent offer on the table, which keeps the door open for the Americans to remain.
