Manchester United have reportedly had a bid for Bayern Munich's Benjamin Pavard rejected. United want to sign a new defender if their former captain Harry Maguire leaves the club this summer.
Earlier this week, the Reds accepted a bid from West Ham for the England international. One of the names linked with a move to Old Trafford is Bayern defender Pavard.
According to Sky Sports' Florian Plettenberg, United have had their first offer knocked back by the Bavarian club.
