Manchester United are keeping tabs on Lazio goalkeeper Ivan Provedel, according to reports in Italy. Erik ten Hag looked to Serie A for his first-choice shot-stopper over the summer, spending £47.2m to bring Andre Onana over from Inter Milan.
The 27-year-old had played under Ten Hag at Ajax and was brought in to replace David de Gea, who left as a free agent. Onana helped Inter to the Champions League final last season but was pipped to the Serie A's Goalkeeper of the Season award by Provedel.
And according to Il Messaggero (via Football Italia), that has alerted United to his services. Having initially been signed as a back-up goalkeeper, Provedel kept an incredible 20 clean sheets in 37 league appearances last season, conceding just 30 goals in that period.
Lazio will not sell the 29-year-old for less than €35m (£30.3m).
