Manchester United's Under-19s made a storming start to their UEFA Youth League campaign on Wednesday night, beating FK Zalgiris 5-2 in Lithuania.

Becoming the first United team to play in the Baltic state, the youngsters were far too strong for their hosts, ensuring they will take a commanding lead into the second leg of their second round tie at Leigh Sports Village next month.

As is becoming an all too familiar theme when United's youngsters are involved, it was talented striker Gabriele Biancheri that lapped up most of the headlines, scoring a brace.

Ethan Williams, who also scored two, and James Scanlon joined him on the scoresheet.
