Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson is convinced he will join Nottingham Forest permanently. Henderson, 26, is understood to be perplexed by suggestions he could stay at United, who are planning for the England international's sale.
The Manchester Evening News revealed last month Henderson was informed of Forest's intention to buy him after they secured their Premier League survival.
Forest have mooted a possible £30million deal for Henderson, who is recovering from surgery on a thigh strain that has kept him sidelined since January. David de Gea has entered the final week of his contract and United are in the market for a new No.1 goalkeeper with senior figures at the club keen to "move on" from the Spaniard.
