Since November, Manchester United Football Club has been stuck in limbo. The Glazers announced last year their intention to find new investment for the club with all options being on the table, including selling entirely.
However, as the months have dragged by, it's not any clearer which direction the club is heading in. What we do know is Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al-Thani and Sir Jim Ratcliffe are the two leading candidates.
While the former is looking for a full takeover thanks to a bid of £5bn, plus £1bn of promised investment, the latter is aiming to purchase 60 per cent of the Reds with his offer also thought to be in the region of £5bn.
As the ownership continues to stew over the offers on the table, they seem to forget who is being truly hindered by the lack of progress - Erik ten Hag.
