Manchester United have been boosted in their interest in PSV winger Cody Gakpo after learning he has an agreement in place to leave the Dutch club if their asking price is met.
United have kept tabs on the 23-year-old in recent months, with boss Erik ten Hag keen to recruit the attacker in the summer transfer window.
However, the club ultimately opted to prioritise the signing of Antony from Ajax. Gakpo enjoyed a stellar campaign last term — being named the Eredivisie Player of the Year.
He has started this season in similar fashion and has already scored 10 goals in 13 appearances.
