Manchester United have an action-packed October to contend with before turning their attentions to their latest recruitment drive when the transfer window reopens once again in January.

Starting with the Manchester derby against Manchester City on Sunday afternoon (2pm), Erik ten Hag and his side have nine games across two competitions this month.

Ten Hag will have to rotate his squad to prevent injuries and maintain a competitive edge. During the summer, United made six signings; Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen, Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, Antony and Martin Dubravka.

The latter was brought in on loan to offset Dean Henderson moving to Nottingham Forest. But how many recruits will United and Ten Hag add mid-season?
