Hello and welcome to the Manchester United transfer blog on Friday as the summer window approaches its conclusion. Transfer deadline day is a week away for Premier League clubs and United are still working on multiple moves.
The club are closing in on an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign midfielder Manuel Ugarte and have already agreed a deal to sign teenage Mali youth international Sekou Kone.
They will reputedly pay a £1million transfer fee for the latter, which could rise because of several performance-related add-ons.
The midfielder is seemingly set to have a medical next week before officially becoming a United player. United are not quite at that stage of negotiations with PSG over Ugarte, but talks with the Parisian club are described as productive and a deal is seemingly imminent.
