Manchester United are likely to be in the market for further new signings in the not-too-distant future. United completed five new signings during the summer transfer window with Leny Yoro, Joshua Zirkzee, Noussair Mazraoui, Matthijs de Ligt and Manuel Ugarte moving to Old Trafford.
All five players will improve the squad depth at United, but plans are already in motion for further new additions being made.
MEN Sport understands that United are planning to sign at least three players in the summer of 2025. A new defender, midfielder and winger are understood to be priority areas of the squad for new signings in 12 months time.
In terms of midfield, this summer saw United bring Ugarte to the club after weeks of speculation. The deal was not confirmed until deadline day as United signed the Uruguay international after reaching an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain over a €50million (£42.2million) fee.
