Cristiano Ronaldo believes that Manchester United should listen to club legends in a bid to restore the Reds to former glory.

Ronaldo's words on United will always hold huge weight. Despite a disappointing end to his second spell at Old Trafford, the Portuguese remains one of United's greatest-ever players and a figure of huge significance in the footballing world.

The 39-year-old has previously been critical of Erik ten Hag and United in a controversial interview with Piers Morgan in November 2022.

Ronaldo was left dismayed at United's standards and has now opened up further on the issue in a recent interview. “If Ten Hag listens to Ruud van Nistelrooy… maybe he can help," he told Rio Ferdinand's podcast. "He knows the club and the club should listen to the guys who were there.
