Manchester City are sweating over the fitness of Savinho, who had to be taken off a stretcher 63 minutes into Wednesday's League Cup tie against Tottenham Hotspur.
The winger appeared to have sustained a problem with his ankle and looked in discomfort as he was taken away from the field by medical staff.
Savinho picked up the issue after trying to cross the ball just before the hour mark, seemingly putting weight on his right ankle when going to ground.
The Brazilian was down for a number of minutes before the stretcher was called for. He was replaced by academy product Jacob Wright.
