He may still be getting used to life in the Scottish Premiership, but Maik Nawrocki already knows who he wants in the Champions League group stage draw.

Celtic's new Polish recruit made his competitive debut in their opening day 4-2 win over Ross County at Parkhead. He was replaced in the second half by Carl Starfelt as Brendan Rodgers gave the Swede a Celts swansong before he completed his move to Celta Vigo on Thursday.

Now Nawrocki can look forward to 90 minutes playing alongside new defensive partner Carl Starfelt. But the 22-year-old is more excited by the prospect of taking on Europe's best with the Hoops.

The Scottish champions are straight into the groups again this year. Under Ange Postecoglou last term, they gave a good account of themselves in most games, but failed to record a win against Real Madrid, RB Leipzig or Shakhtar Donetsk.
