Luncarty were in Scottish Cup dreamland on Saturday. And now manager Jason McCrindle is backing his players to create even more history.
The Bleachers, competing in the famous competition for the first time, have advanced to the second preliminary round thanks to a 3-1 home win against Loch Ness at the weekend.
That has set up another date with destiny at the beginning of next month and a trip to take on Newton Stewart for a spot in the first round of the main draw.
Speaking after Saturday’s success, McCrindle told the PA: “Before the match the message to the players was that they hadn’t worked so hard just to play one game in this competition. “We didn’t want to come out of the tie with any regrets and we wanted to get ourselves into the next round.
