Cray Valley got past lower-league opponents Lordswood at the second attempt on Tuesday night. A 4-1 win for Cray at the Artic Stadium sends them into the first qualifying round and an away match against either Uxbridge or Corinthian Casuals, who play on Wednesday night.
The Wood had taken Cray to a replay following a 1-1 draw at Martyn Grove on Saturday and it was even-stevens again at the break when they met again for the midweek replay.
Kyrell Lisbie put the Millers ahead on Tuesday but a first half stoppage-time penalty scored by James Jeffrey levelled it up before the break.
Steve McKimm’s Isthmian League South East side turned it up a notch early in the second half. Freddie Parker put them back infront with a strike from the edge of the box before Michael Ademiluyi struck twice, with his pace causing Lordswood problems all night.
