Livingston's Scottish Cup win must be the start of a run, says goal hero

dailyrecord.co.uk

Livingston hero Dan MacKay headed his side into the Scottish Cup fifth round, and said they must build on that win when Dundee visit this weekend.

The 2-1 Scottish Cup fourth round win over Championship side Raith Rovers ends a horror winless run of 13 games, and it was quite a performance from the Hibs loanee.

MacKay, 22, climbed off the bench to replace injured Cristian Montano in the first half and set up Jamie Brandon for his first Livi goal to level Jack Hamilton’s early opener in 33 minutes.

As the game was heading for extra-time, MacKay popped up to head in Stephen Kelly’s pinpoint cross and sent the Lions through.
