The TV picks for the Scottish Cup fifth round have been announced with Rangers vs Ayr United and St Mirren vs Celtic both set for broadcast on Viaplay.

The last 16 of the competition is where it really starts to get interesting as teams stand just two wins away from a big Hampden day out.

And it's where the broadcast media start to take serious attention too with half of the eight ties set for live broadcast across the BBC and Viaplay.

The weekend action kicks off on the Friday night with the BBC showing Motherwell's trip to Cappielow to face Morton (7.30pm) and then Viaplay have their first pick the following day when Celtic legend Scott Brown takes his new Ayr United charges to Ibrox to face his former Old Firm rivals Rangers (kick off 5.30pm).
