A Liverpool fan mocked Pep Guardiola for his lack of European Cup wins without Lionel Messi ahead of the clash against Manchester City on Sunday.

Liverpool ran out 1-0 winners during a hotly-contested clash at Anfield, with Mohamed Salah scoring the only goal of the match.

It was a game that saw Guardiola have a bit of a meltdown after Man City had a goal ruled out through VAR, while his opposite number, Jurgen Klopp, was sent off for shouting in the assistant referee’s face after he failed to give a free-kick.

After the match, the City boss claimed 'This is Anfield' when asked about the decision to disallow Phil Foden's goal.
