Manchester United are looking to wrap up a deal with Sporting for manager Ruben Amorim. The Manchester Evening News reported on Monday that Amorim has agreed in principle to become the next United manager.

Sporting then confirmed on Tuesday that the Reds are interested with a €10million (£8.43m) release clause written into the Portuguese's contract.

One player who will be particularly eager to get on the pitch under Amorim or any manager for that fact is Leny Yoro. The French centre-back is yet to make his competitive debut for United after fracturing his metatarsal in the opening game of the Reds' pre-season tour of the United States in July.
