Leeds United are looking at bringing in a new forward before the transfer window closes, according to Sky Sports reporter Tim Thornton. The Yorkshire club have had a busy summer, but Thornton says they are still considering signing a striker and have more than one option on their shortlist.
In terms of forwards who are currently being linked to Leeds, Chelsea’s Michy Batshuayi is one name that has recently come up.
Journalist Sacha Tavolieri claimed earlier this week that Elland Road could be a potential destination for the Belgian. As well as Batshuayi, there has also been talk about FC Zurich’s Willy Gnonto.
As per the MailOnline, the Whites have made an enquiry about signing the 18-year-old. Gnonto has already played for Italy at senior level, winning four caps for the Azzurri, and reached double figures for goals last season.
