Katlego Otladisa is set to join Orlando Pirates on a reported long-term deal ahead of the 2023/24 season following the relegation of his club Marumo Gallants. The former Cape Umoya United, Ajax Cape Town, Platinum Stars and Mamelodi Sundowns winger has been with Marumo Gallants since the 2021/22 season, where he first caught the eye of rival DStv Premiership club.During his impressive first season with the Limpopo side, Otladisa had been linked with Amazulu and Kaizer Chiefs, with Orlando Pirates reportedly joining the race later on during the recently concluded 2022/23 season.

Otladisa had another decent campaign this season, featuring in 43 matches in all competitions, contributing six assists in a season where Gallants did well in the Caf Confederations Cup, losing in the semi-finals to Tanzanian champions Young Africans. However, their sterling Caf campaign came at a price, as Bahlabane ba Ntwa failed to transfer their continental performances into the DStv Premiership, finishing the season in last position and automatically relegated to the Motsepe Foundation Championship for next season.Otladisa has featured in 93 matches in all competitions in the Premier Soccer League, scoring three goals and providing ten assists. He joins fellow wingers Thembinkosi Lorch, Monnapule Saleng, Vincent Pule, Deon Hotto, Craig Martin and youngster Relebohile Ratomo in the battle for spots in the Buccaneer's starting line-up next season.
