Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has told fans 'that's it' as he offered a fresh update on his long break from the cobbles. The actor said goodbye to Weatherfield for a short while as he and his girlfriend headed on an incredible trip to Africa.
Jack, who is famed for playing David Platt in the ITV soap, and Hanni Treweek were earlier this month seen enjoying a safari trip in Tanzania and was regularly updating his fans and followers with the magnificent animals they had spotted along the way.
In one of his more recent updates, having previously mentioned moving on to Zanzibar, Jack was seen with Hanni strolling alongside a golden sandy beach. And his was quick to point out that the sand was actually golden.

As he filmed his feet as he made his way across the beach, the soap star told fans: "It's shiny, it's gold. See the little flecks of gold?" Jack then simply captioned the post: "As bloody if!"
It came after Jack and Hanni were last week seen out at sea on a boat watching the sunset. Jack, 36, captioned a string of photos on Instagram: "Sunsets in Zanzibar."
The actor looked content as he sat smiling on the boat, whilst another snap showed his stunning girlfriend looking out to sea. The pair then shared a photo of them locking lips in front of the stunning views. But fans were quick to take to the comments section to address Jack's golden tan, as they asked pondered over how he'll get away with it when he returns to the soap to play David.
But as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end and he has now taking to social media on Friday
