Manchester United target Jean-Clair Todibo could be on his way out of Nice this summer and the central defender could join one of his heroes at Old Trafford.

Todibo is among a number of central defenders to have been linked with a move to Old Trafford as Erik ten Hag plans to strengthen in that area.

Any interest will only likely be acted upon following departures at the back, with Harry Maguire the most likely to leave. Th 30-year-old was stripped of the captaincy earlier this summer and has attracted interest from West Ham.

United have rejected a £30million bid for their defender but David Moyes' side are keen to act quickly with the new season just days away.
