Manchester United are exploring a potential move for Sergio Reguilon in the final days of the window and the left-back has already received Jose Mourinho's backing.

United are in the midst of an injury crisis at left-back, following news of muscle issue picked up by Luke Shaw earlier in the week.

An announcement initially confirmed he would be out for 'a number of weeks' but there are fears that prognosis could extend to two months.

Tyrell Malacia would be the natural cover, however the young Dutchman is yet to feature this season after arriving back for pre-season with an unspecified injury.
