Harry Maguire defends his 'ridiculously high' Manchester United win record and hints at possible exit
Harry Maguire has defended his Manchester United record by describing his win percentage as 'ridiculously high', although the defender also admitted he could leave the club in search of regular minutes on the pitch.
Maguire made just eight league starts last season and he was regarded fourth choice in the centre-back pecking order for the majority of the campaign, with Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez and Victor Lindelof all playing more games.
Erik ten Hag also stripped Maguire of the captaincy in the summer and handed the armband to Bruno Fernandes.

Maguire was expected to push for a move away from Old Trafford following a disappointing year for him individually and there was interest from West Ham in his signature but a transfer never materialised.
The centre-back remains at United and he was asked about his lack of starts ahead of England's upcoming friendly against Australia. "It's not my decision to whether I start the next game or not. I'm unsure on that," Maguire said.
"I'm sure in a couple of weeks I'll go back and find out. If you look back on my last 15-20 starts for club and country, I would be happy to sit here and say I'm really happy with my performances.
"My record under this manager speaks for itself. I haven't started as many games as I like [for United], but my win percentage when I've played is ridiculously high. Of course there are times when I could do more and times when I could improve and help the team.
"But I'm just wanting to help the team, I'm wanting to help the team get out of this position we're in at the moment. Hopefully we can do that in the coming weeks."
