Tottenham legend and former Rangers player Graham Roberts hasn't enjoyed Ange Postecoglou's Celtic stint - but reckons he is a perfect fit for Spurs.

The latest noise around the Hoops gaffer is he is closing in on White Hart Lane and chairman Daniel Levy will make an official approach on Monday.

Tottenham have been looking for a permanent successor to Antonio Conte and look set to break Celtic hearts by taking the man who clinched a Treble on Saturday by beating Inverness CT 3-1 in the Scottish Cup final.

Roberts - who starred for Rangers between 1986-1988 and previously spent six years in North London - hasn't enjoyed the domestic dominance Postecoglou has had.
