Tottenham are reportedly set to make an "official approach" to Celtic as they look to open talks with Ange Postecoglou. The Scottish champions secured an historic Treble success with a 3-1 Scottish Cup final victory over Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Hampden on Saturday with Spurs' chief Daniel Levy looking to hold talks with the Australian following the showpiece.
Reports south of the border suggested that face-to-face talks could be held on Monday, and the English Premier League giants are now set to make formal contact with Celtic over their boss.
The Telegraph report that Tottenham "are poised to make an official approach to Celtic this week" and that the club "want to hold talks with Postecoglou and are keen to open negotiations on Monday" having put an approach on hold until after the season was completed.
Former Spain boss Luis Enrique and Fulham's Marco Silva were also reportedly on the shortlist but the 57-year-old is the number one candidate to take over in north London.
