Cameron Norrie was thrashed 6-1 6-2 6-4 by Lorenzo Musetti at the French Open to leave no Brits left in either the men's or women's singles draws at Roland-Garros.
Norrie had looked supreme in his demolition of Lucas Pouille in the second round, but the boot was firmly on the other foot against Musetti as Norrie struggled throughout, winning just seven games.
Ad The Brit was the slight favourite in the seedings — 14th to Musetti's 17th — but that counted for nothing in the first set as Norrie was broken twice to go behind in quick time, losing the opener 6-1.
