Novak Djokovic sukses melangkah ke final French Open 2023, atau yang ketujuh dalam kariernya di turnamen tanah liat tersebut.

Petenis 36 tahun asal Serbia itu kini berpeluang mencetak sejarah sebagai peraih gelar grand slam terbanyak di tunggal putra.

Berlangsung di Philippe-Chatrier, Jumat (9/6), Djokovic mengalahkan Carlos Alcaraz yang lebih muda 16 tahun darinya dengan skor 6-3, 5-7, 6-1, 6-1.

Alcaraz sempat menerima perawatan karena kram, yang makin menyulitkan dirinya di dua set terakhir. Bagi Djokovic, ini menjadi final grand slam ke-34 dalam kariernya, dan sejauh ini ia sudah meraih 22 gelar, setara dengan Rafael Nadal.
