Former Dundee and Arsenal star Fabian Caballero has died, aged just 46. The striker collapsed during a futsal match in his native Paraguay where he played most of his professional career.
He turned out for Cerro Porteno, Serro Portino, Atletico Tembetary, Sol de America and Tacuary. Cabballero also made an impact on Brisish shores when he left Porteno on loan for a spell at English Premier League giants Arsenal.
He made just one appearance for the Gunners but returned to Britain when he signed for Dundee and became a key figure in Ivano Bonetti’s swashbuckling Dark Blues.
He spent five years on Tayside from 2000 - picking up a Scottish Cup runners-up medial during his time at Dens Park after the Hampden defeat to Rangers in 2003.
