Ollie Horgan's nine-year stint as Finn Harps manager is over after he departed the by mutual consent on Wednesday.Horgan twice got Harps promoted to the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division, often keeping the Donegal outfit in the top division against the odds.He led them to an FAI Cup semi-final in his first season, and secured the club’s best league finish in over 20 years in 2020.This year Harps suffered relegation, finishing bottom of the Premier Division table following another tough campaign.Last Sunday's 2-0 defeat to Drogheda United has proven to be Horgan's final game at the helm, with Harps immediately focusing on finding a predecessor who will be tasked with getting them out of the First Division in 2023."We would like to thank Ollie for his efforts on behalf of the club throughout his time at the club," said Finn Harps chairman Ian Harkin."His work ethic and passion are legendary.

We wish him every success in the future."Listen to the RTÉ Soccer podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or wherever you get your podcasts.
