Erik ten Hag's Man United tweak meant Crystal Palace 'couldn't get to grips with' one player

Former Manchester United defender Phil Jones believes a tactical tweak from Erik ten Hag meant Crystal Palace couldn't get to grips with one player.

The Red Devils created plenty of opportunities at Selhurst Park but were unable to extend their winning run to three games on the bounce.

United were dominant in the opening 45 minutes, with Diogo Dalot impressing his former Red Devils teammate by inverting into midfield when the visitors were in possession.

The Portuguese international created three goalscoring opportunities, more than any other player on the pitch. Jones, who has recently retired and was working on Sky Sports as a pundit, analysed Dalot's contribution from left-back at the halfway stage.
