Dumbarton new boy Joel Mumbongo says a conversation with Sons boss Stevie Farrell made signing with the club an easy decision.
The Swedish forward, who has English Premier League experience with Burnley, netted five times in as many starts during a loan spell with Queen of the South last season - after finding his opportunities limited at Hamilton Academical.
However now he’s determined to take that form into the new campaign at The Rock - and is already feeling at home in G82, setting up a goal and winning a penalty in Saturday's 2-2 draw with Arbroath.
Joel told the Lennox: “The deal happened quite late in the window. I was looking around to try and see what the best option was for me. “Taking everything into consideration that seemed like being Dumbarton.
