Unlike his teammate and good friend Gary Neville, David Beckham has often taken a backseat when it has come to making comments on the Glazers' ownership of Manchester United.
While Neville has in recent years been forthright with his opposition to the American owners, Beckham's stance has often been non-committal.
This is why it was a surprise on Friday when an interview with the Inter Miami co-owner was published where he declared it was time for the Glazers to leave the club.
Speaking to The Athletic, he said: "I think so (it's time for the Glazers to go). I think it’s purely because the fans want it.
