Andre Onana endured a nightmare start to life at Old Trafford but the Manchester United goalkeeper will have earned Gary Neville's respect by the way he reacted.

The 27-year-old joined up with his new team in the United States after a £47.72million deal was agreed with Inter Milan. His impact was quickly felt in games against Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, producing some fine saves and looking confident on the ball.

But his first taste of football at Old Trafford wasn't so smooth as he was embarrassed by a long-range lob from Florian Sotoca.

The Lens forward picked up the ball inside the centre-cricle after Diogo Dalot's misplaced pass, spotting the United goalkeeper way off his line.
