Charlie Lindsay insists Rangers exit can help fulfil ambitions after first class Ibrox education

Determined Charlie Lindsay is confident he can now net his first-team goal after leaving Rangers. The Northern Irish under-19 star is currently assessing his options after he left Ibrox in the summer, with strong English Championship and League One options.

The attacking midfielder was a stand out for the Rangers B team in the Lowland League and the UEFA Youth League last season and now wants to kick on.

Lindsay said: “I just want to go to a club who are ambitious because I want to kick on. There is some interest from some big clubs in England, so we will see what develops.

It is nice to hear there is interest but you can’t look into that too much. I just need to keep working hard. I have been training hard to make sure I am in the best shape wherever I end up next season.
