Charlie Lindsay insists Rangers exit can help fulfil ambitions after first class Ibrox education

Determined Charlie Lindsay is confident he can now net his first-team goal after leaving Rangers.

The Northern Irish under-19 star is currently assessing his options after he left Ibrox in the summer, with strong English Championship and League One options. “I learned under some top coaches and managers and played and trained with some unbelievable players. It will stand me in good stead for the new season. I feel I am an all-rounded player and I am ready to take the next step in my career.”

Lindsay trained with the Rangers’ first-team and guys like fellow Northern Irishman Steven Davis. He has some great memories, like scoring against Liverpool and Napoli and in the UEFA Youth League.

Lindsay claimed: “I
