Barry Hearn is confident that a blockbuster bout between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury is on the horizon. The two British heavyweights have carved out impressive careers, with Fury having claimed the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO, and WBC titles at various points following victories over top-tier opponents such as Wladimir Klitschko, Deontay Wilder, and Tom Schwarz.
Joshua, for his part, has secured all major heavyweight titles except the WBC, defeating Alexander Povetkin, Joseph Parker, and Andy Ruiz Jr, among others.
Despite their status as two of the most accomplished heavyweights of their era, Joshua and Fury are yet to clash in the ring, much to the frustrating of boxing fans.
But Matchroom's Barry Hearn, speaking on Thursday's episode of The Barry Hearn Show, shared his belief that this much-anticipated fight could finally be in the offing.
